Starting as a college student my sophomore year, I honed my skills as a sales development representative, splitting my vacations in the summer between home visits and sales trips. The pivot to full remote learning during Covid-19 opened the door for me to further my sales experience across the Midwest and Southern US, all while managing my academic commitments.
Upon graduation, my proven success led to new responsibilities and opportunities within the sales industry, solidifying my dedication to results-driven practices.
Marketing by Morning Sales by Evening
High school is where I started my marketing journey with affiliate marketing and landing page creation, which naturally led to a marketing major in college. My freshman year was dedicated to launching profitable ecommerce businesses, balancing academics with practical business experience.
With my sales career taking off the year after, I still wanted to keep marketing, so even amidst sales trips later in college, I was able to juggle a remote digital marketing specialist role with Travel Trend during the school year while on sales trips.
Marketing: Back to the Roots
Post-graduation, I focused on sales at Decca Solar (now Lumio), due to promising opportunities and an expanded role in the emerging solar market along with keeping up my area manager role on the ADT Security side of the company. However, my passion for digital marketing led me to transition back to my roots at WGMI Studios, a growing tech marketing startup.
Here, I transitioned to full-time remote work, offering my expertise as a marketing consultant in cutting-edge sectors like blockchain, AI, and biotech. This experience deepened my understanding of B2C marketing in the tech space.
When WGMI Studios underwent a split, creating WGMI Media, my role evolved. I led rebranding efforts, managed social media accounts, and developed content strategy, further showcasing my versatility and strategic thinking with a focus on content creation.
